Steve and Eydie might have not been considered cool to the young set back in the day, but they always held a sweet spot for TJ Lubinsky.

The Jersey Shore-raised music man's My Music Presents series is showcasing “Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme — Memories Of My Mom and Dad,” which debuts Saturday, Dec. 2, nationally on PBS and locally at 7 p.m. Saturday on Channel 13.

Lubinsky got into the duo while working at an ice cream stand in Ocean Grove.

"We only had one cassette there and the cassette was 'The Best of Steve and Eydie,' " Lubinsky said. "I put it in and I thought that's cute, that's quaint. It's Ocean Grove, it's very humble. But then after a while after hearing it over and over, I really got into it. I love these guys so much now."
