Paulie's Emotional Breakdown on ‘Big Brother’
On Wednesday’s Big Brother, Paulie’s game seemed to be falling apart around him, which led to many tears falling from his eyes. “People come in this house and they want to say, ‘It’s just a game,’ but when you’re a born and bred competitor, champion … a game, you put your passion behind that. Now it’s full-on beast mode,” he said tearfully. “I’ll fight until my last breath comes out.’
The rest of the housemates came together against him, calling him out for his dirty play and out-of-turn comments. James scolded him for his remarks about Natalie’s appearance, Michelle called him a liar, and Paul said he could no longer trust him.
His only chance at salvation was to win the power of veto, but that was won by Victor, who was also head of household. Paulie broke down again, saying, “I told myself that I’d come in here and be emotionless. … I feel like it brought out the worst side of me.” He added, “Part of me wants to say f*** it. Put me on a flight so I can get back home.”
