Paul Wight is set to have another surgery.
The official Twitter account for the Chris Jericho Cruise shared a clip in which Paul Wight spoke with some fans. In the video, Wight, whose knee is bandaged, says he’s going to get knee surgery. He elaborates that he’s going to get it partially replaced. Further details are unclear at this time.

Wight had been sidelined since March 2022, but he returned to the ring in November 2023. He competed in the Like a Dragon Gaiden Street Fight” on the November 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, where Powerhouse Hobbs took him out with a slam onto a car. Chris Jericho subsequently said that Wight had hurt his knee, and he thought he might have to get it cleaned out.
Wight recently wrestled on the Chris Jericho Cruise. On January 29, he teamed up with Jericho and Mike Bailey to beat Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher, and Lance Archer.
WrestleZone sends out best regards to Wight, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
