Paul Walker: 'Fast & Furious' co-stars and fans pay tribute


Paul Walker is five years gone but not forgotten.

Today, loved ones and fans alike paid tribute to the Fast & Furious star, who died in a car crash on Nov. 30, 2013, with messages filled with sorrow and kindness.

Tyrese Gibson, one of his co-stars in the blockbuster franchise, said that learning of Walker’s death was “a nightmare.”

Furious cast member Jordana Brewster shared a simple “I miss you. I love you.”

The team behind the Paul Walker Foundation, dedicated to protecting the oceans and wildlife, observed the sad anniversary earlier in the week, while soliciting donations for Giving Tuesday.

Vin Diesel, another member of the Furious family, remembered his friend on Sept. 12, the day that he celebrated Walker’s final birthday, his 40th, alongside him.

Fans made it clear that they’re still devastated. Some also noted how the time has passed in a blur.

Walker’s mom Cheryl recalled that, on his final morning, the actor had been planning to pick out a Christmas tree with his daughter, Meadow, that night.

“We were having this good conversation, and he’d forgotten about an event he had,” she said in an August 2018 interview with People. “He got a text and said, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m supposed to be somewhere!'”
