The actor and his longtime girlfriend got engaged, announcing the exciting news in joint Instagram post on Dec. 26, 2023.

"💍❤️FOREVER AND EVER ❤️💍," they wrote, alongside a series of photos from what appeared to be a beach proposal. One image showed Schwarzenegger planting a kiss on his fiancée's cheek as she showed off her sparkly double-diamond engagement ring.

Several of Schwarzenegger's family members have since posted congratulatory messages for the pair, including his mother, Maria Shriver, sister Katherine Schwarzenegger and Katherine's husband, Chris Pratt.

The pair were first romantically linked in September 2015, before making their relationship Instagram official in February 2016. Since then, they have shared small glimpses into their love story on social media.
