Patrick Mahomes’ Dad Doesn’t Want To Sit With Taylor Swift At Chiefs Game

Pat Mahomes, the father of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, may have just stirred up some drama after he was asked about seating arrangements for the upcoming NFL playoff game.

As you know, Taylor Swift has been in attendance for many Kansas City Chiefs games to root for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the rest of the team. She has been spotted sitting with Travis's mom, Donna Kelce, and Patrick Mahomes's wife, Brittany Mahomes, in past games.

Last week, in the Chiefs win over the Buffalo Bills, Taylor sat with Travis's brother, Jason Kelce, and Jason's wife, Kylie. While she is expected to attend the upcoming Chiefs game against the Baltimore Ravens, it seems like she will not be sitting with Patrick Mahomes's dad as he is requesting a different VIP box than the pop icon.

Pat Mahomes Hopes He Is Not In The Same VIP Box As Taylor Swift

The father of Patrick Mahomes appeared on WFAN Sports Radio’s “Evan & Tiki” show, where he was asked if he would be sitting with the 'Red' singer during the AFC Championship game, to which he jokingly replied, "I hope not.”

He continued: “No, I don’t think so. Travis [Kelce] normally has his own thing and Patrick [Mahomes] has his own deal too. … I imagine if Taylor [Swift] wants her own suite, she’s got enough money to get whichever one she wants.”

This is likely because Pat Mahomes enjoys watching the game in a more quiet environment rather than in a "party box," and if the last game was any indication of what it may be like to watch a game with Jason, Brittany, and Taylor, it is understandable as to why Pat doesn't want to sit near them.

Pat Mahomes On Jason Kelce's Shirtless Stunt

As you know, Jason Kelce jumped out of the VIP box last weekend, shirtless and holding a beer. He was seen screaming and yelling as Travis just scored a touchdown. Pat, who was sitting not too far from Jason and Taylor's suite, watched the entire stunt.

“I was actually two booths down. But as soon as [Jason] started doing that, I started looking down, and I saw him,” he said. “It just so happens that at one point, we were both having a beer in the bathroom. I’ve known him for quite some time because Travis is like another son to me.”

He added, “I’ve been around [Jason] a lot, and I’ve been in the booth with Taylor before, and she was very nice and genuine. I went over there and hung out with them a little bit after the game, after we won, for a little bit. Those are some fun guys — if you think Jason is wild, you ought to see Travis!”

The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday in the AFC Championship game.
