Patrick J. Adams is ready to "suit up" once more!

The Suits star, 42, opened up to ET's Rachel Smith during Variety and ET's Golden Globes 2024 pre-show on Sunday about a Suits spinoff he's recently learned of. And as he explained, the upcoming project should be including assistance from show runner Aaron Korsh.

"We found out about — well, it's not a revival — but a Suits spinoff. I think it's all in early stages. But what did they say? It's a show in the Suits universe. Like a Suits L.A.," Adams explained ahead of the awards show.

"Anyway, our fearless show-runner Aaron's working on that. And if we got the phone call, if I got the phone call, I'm ready to suit up again. I love the show, I love the character. And I loved working with all these people."

Adams, who played Mike Ross in the 9-season USA Network series, was joined by co-star Gabriel Macht on the carpet. While Adams said he had "no idea" where the next iteration of Suits picks up story-wise ("they didn't tell us anything"), Macht, 51, labled it a "completely separate world within the Suits world."

"Who knows, maybe he'll show up one day in L.A.," he said of his co-star.

As for if Meghan Markle will be making any appearances in upcoming Suits projects, Adams also toyed with the idea.

"Sure. Mike and Rachel in Seattle. They gotta come down to L.A., they gotta fix some stuff," he shared of a potential plot line.

"She's pretty popular right now," he added of Markle, 42, on the carpet. "Did you hear about Meghan? I'll tell you later."

While Suits ended in 2019, plenty of alumni showed their faces at the Globes on Sunday, including Gina Torres. Also speaking on the red carpet at the Globes, Torres told Variety that the cast is "all texting each other" in a show-centric group chat.

"Yes, our text thread is insane right now. So it’s very exciting," she shared.

Still, not every star is in the chat. "We don’t have her number," Torres said of Markle, who played Rachel Zane on the series. "We just don’t. So she’ll see, she’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here [at the award show]."
