Pat McAfee made a surprise appearance at WWE Royal Rumble.
The road to WrestleMania kicked off on January 27, as WWE presented the Royal Rumble premium live event. Ahead of the first match, Pat McAfee came to the ring and joined the broadcast team. His former SmackDown commentary partner, Michael Cole, was thrilled to see him.

McAfee stepped away from WWE in September 2022, as he joined ESPN College GameDay. He has made multiple appearances since then, as he returned at Royal Rumble 2023 and WrestleMania 39. Before Saturday, McAfee last appeared on the September 15 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Update: McAfee later entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match and eliminated himself after he was in the match.
