Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is the franchise everyone’s talking about right now. And while Monica Garcia‘s shocking actions went viral, longtime viewers know this cast was always filled with outrageous characters.

With just four seasons so far, RHOSLC hasn’t had as much cast turnover as the more long-running Housewives series. But after the much-talked-about Season 4, the snowflake crew is more popular than ever. To celebrate the show being back on top, we’re ranking all of the RHOSLC Housewives from worst to best.

Jennie Nguyen

Jennie Nguyen is a RHOSLC Housewife most people probably forgot about. She didn’t bring much of anything when she joined in Season 2. Her biggest storyline was that her husband wanted a sister wife. But what cements Jennie at the bottom of this list are her racist Facebook posts. This is a one-and-done Housewife that no one wants back on the show.

Jen Shah

I’m not just putting this convicted felon second to last because she defrauded the elderly. Just looking at her role as a RHOSLC Housewife, Jen Shah was always a bully. She spent most of the time threatening her co-stars while also playing the victim. Though she’s supposedly super charismatic in person, this never came across much on screen. It’s hard to understand the power she had—and still has—over the others.

Whitney Rose

I have a lot of empathy for Whitney Rose, but I don’t need more talking about everyone hurting her “fillings” and how she’s on a “hilling journey.”

Whitney reminds me of Ashley Darby from Real Housewives of Potomac. Both are younger and more naive than their castmates. Both married older men, and share TMI about their sex lives (Ashley’s “coochie craving” for Michael Darby, Whitney saying Justin Rose has a “good nose for going down”). And both constantly start drama but let their co-stars take the fall. Also, they’re both pretty bad at Real Housewives taglines.

But Ashley has some iconic and funny moments. Does Whitney? Most of the memorable moments and lines she’s associated with are just directed at her. And her attempts at starting fights are exhausting, like screaming that Heather Gay “exploited [her] vagina.” For all the fuss she makes about the others being patronizing, she sure does lean into the little girl act to avoid responsibility.

Monica Garcia

Monica Garcia divided viewers all season long. For a while, I was entertained by her, and appreciated what she brought to this cast. The show can’t be about friends who get along all the time. It needs drama and conflict, and Monica delivered. But the conflict with her mother and the Reality Von Tease of it all showed that too much drama isn’t good either. I agree with Andy Cohen that she’s a classic example of “hurt people hurt people.”

Monica cemented her fate and her RHOSLC Housewives ranking at the reunion. The Burn Book was beyond cringe, and the stories of her stalking Jen are disturbing. Ultimately, she burned too bright, too fast. But I wouldn’t be surprised if she returns someday. Hopefully, with new comebacks instead of just calling people old.

Angie Katsanevas

Monica got all the press, but viewers know that Angie Katsanevas was as much of a breakout star.

About halfway through the season, fans did a total 180 on Angie. Before, she was dismissed as trying too hard. After all, she was openly desperate to be a RHOSLC Housewife, applying multiple times and appearing as a friend of in Seasons 2 and 3.

It’s not that Angie stopped being a try-hard, more that it became hilarious and endearing. Remember when she threw a glass and yelled “OPA!” out of nowhere? The Greek goddess was also super entertaining throughout the dud Season 4 reunion. She also just seems like a blast to be around. Even Mary Cosby likes Angie! Mary usually only likes the Housewives who suck up to her!

This ranking might be a little high, but at the moment, Angie earns extra points for potential. Now that she’s found her groove, we’ll have to see how she does in Season 5. If she plays her cards right, she could rank even higher. Let’s not forget, after all, that she is a pillar in the community in Salt Lake City!

Mary Cosby

Mary Cosby is extremely problematic. To say a little of her goes a long way is an understatement. I don’t blame anyone who wants her off the show.

But Mary is also responsible for so many of RHOSLC’s most iconic moments and funniest quotes. As soon as we learned she married her step-grandfather and saw that Rosemary and Jesus painting, it was clear Mary is like no one else on TV. Plus, Mary is the reason RHOSLC exists in the first place.

Heather Gay

In the first two seasons, Heather Gay was the closest thing to a universal fan favorite. Then came Season 3 and the black eye saga, which keeps coming back to bite her.

Nevertheless, the Season 4 finale puts Heather in the Real Housewives history books. “RECEIPTS. PROOF. SCREENSHOTS. TIMELINE” is already up there with “Mention it all!” and the table flip. It wasn’t just her monologues, but also the big reveal of how she exposed Monica. Heather’s going into Season 5 as the new RHOSLC queen bee.

For many viewers, Lisa Barlow has everything you’d want in a Housewife. She’s wealthy, quotable, fashionable, delusional, successful, and full of personality. She’s confident and unapologetic about everything, especially her love of Taco Bell. And she’s hilarious, both intentionally and unintentionally.

But Lisa has some habits that are getting really tired. She can be a bit of a Karen. And she goes from zero to 100 so fast, you never know what will set her off.

Meredith Marks

I have a feeling ranking Meredith Marks as the top RHOSLC Housewife might be controversial. But every Housewives fan has a preference, and I personally get drawn to over-the-top characters, like Potomac’s Grand Dame, Karen Huger. Meredith fits that bill. I’m far from the first to make this comparison, but Meredith is like Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek. She’s a character Bette Davis would’ve played—no wonder she was cited as the inspiration for Sarah Paulson’s latest performance.

Meredith is like an alien masquerading as a human. She has a million accents, and they’re all indecipherable. Her bizarre outfits are not “good” but are always interesting. Her business makes no sense (has her store sold anything? She has her own caviar brand?) but gives her an excuse to monogram everything. I love when she breaks out her law degree, when she acts like a mob wife, and when she gets glam while sick in bed.

Meredith is an icon. She is mother. I love her as much as she loves blazers and bathtubs.
