Castaway Diva and Perfect Marriage Revenge both premiered on October 28, 2023 and aired 12 episodes. While Park Eun-Bin’s drama streamed on Netflix and tvN, Sung-Hoon’s series aired on MBN and Viki.

The shows ended on Sunday, December 3, 2023, with happy endings. According to a recent Star News report, Castaway Diva bagged the highest viewership ratings for its series finale. It not only surpassed Perfect Marriage Revenge’s finale ratings but also broke its own viewership ratings during its entire run.

Naver TV Entertainment reported that Sung-Hoon and Jung Yoo-Min’s drama achieved decent finale ratings. Its average nationwide rating was 2.4 percent, while Eun-Bin and Chae Jong-Hyeop’s series recorded an average of 9 percent nationwide rating.

The first weekend of December 2023 also witnessed the premiere of Ji Chang-Wook and Shin Hye-Sun’s new K-drama, Welcome to Samdalri. The JTBC series opened on a good note with an average rating of 5.3 percent for episode 2. Also, the latest weekend episodes of Korea-Khitan War and Live Your Own Life recorded 7.8 percent and 17.4 percent average nationwide ratings, respectively. The latter KBS 2TV series turned out to be the most-watched TV program on Sunday.

Meanwhile, My Demon and The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract also did well during the weekend.
