Park Bo-Young is a 33-year-old South Korean actress known for her roles in K-dramas like Strong Girl Bong-Soon and Concrete Utopia. She will be next seen in a heart-touching drama series, Daily Dose of Sunshine.
Park Bo-Young plays a psychiatric ward nurse Jung Da-Eun in Netflix’s upcoming K-drama, Daily Dose of Sunshine. The main plot of the series will be mental health awareness rather than romance. With a promising script, Bo-Young is once again set to prove her incredible acting skills.

Strong Girl Bong-Soon
Strong Girl Bong-Soon is a 2017 Korean drama series about a superhuman Do Bong-Soon (Bo-Young). The females from her mother’s side are born with super strength. When Bong-Soon begins to use her power, threats begin to lurk around her.
Due to her strength, she fails to find a job until An Min-Hyuk played by Park Hyung-Sik hires her as his bodyguard. The professional relationship soon turns into something beautiful. The lead couple recently made a cameo in the drama’s sequel, Strong Girl Nam-Soon on Netflix.
Concrete Utopia
Concrete Utopia is a 2023 film about the aftermath of a massive earthquake in Seoul. Bo-Young plays Myeong-Hwa, the wife of Min-seong (Park Seo-Joon), who is a nurse. The couple, along with Yeong-Tak (Lee Byung-Hun) help survivors and find out ways to survive each day.
Based on the second part of Kim Soongnyung’s webtoon Pleasant Outcast, the emotional film garnered positive reviews. The Uhm Tae-Hwa directorial also stars Kim Sun-Young, Kim Do-Yoon, Park Ji-Hu, and Lee Seo-Hwan.
Doom At Your Service
Doom At Your Service is a 2021 fantasy rom-com Korean drama series. It is the story of Tak Dong-Gyung (Bo-Young) who is diagnosed with a brain tumor with just 100 days to live. Frustrated with the world, she wishes for the destruction of the world. The God of destruction himself enters her life and turns it upside down.
Seo In-Guk plays the God of destruction Myul-Mang. Aside from them, the drama also stars Lee Soo-Hyuk, Song Jin-Woo, Song Ju-Hee, Choi So-Yoon, Park Tae-In, Je Seung-Hyun, Shin Do-Hyun, Kang Tae-Oh, and Jung Ji-So.
On Your Wedding Day
On Your Wedding Day is a 2018 romance comedy drama movie, starring Park Bo-Young and Kim Young-Kwang as Seung-Hee and Woo-Yeon. It is a love story of two high school sweethearts who meet again when one of them sends a wedding invitation.
Aside from the lead pair, the cast includes Kang Ki-Young, Ko Kyu-Pil, Jang Sung-Bum, Seo Eun-Su, Shin So-Yul, Song Jae-Rim, Lim Hyung-Joon, and Kim Hyun-Sook. Lee Seok-Geun is the director.
Oh My Ghost
Oh My Ghost is a 2015 South Korean drama, starring Bo-Young as Na Bong-Sun and Jo Jung-Suk as Kang Sun-Woo. Bong-Sun is a low self-esteemed assistant chef who has seen ghosts since childhood. One day, a seductress ghost possesses her. The sudden shift in her personality grabs Chef Sun-Woo’s attention.
The Yoo Je-Won directorial K-drama series also stars Lim Ju-Hwan, Kim Seul-Gi, Park Jung-Ah, Kang Ki-Young, Choi Min-Chul, Kwak Si-Yang, Shin Hye-Sun, and Seo In-Guk.
Abyss
Abyss is a 2019 rom-com Korean drama series featuring Park Bo-Young and Ahn Hyo-Seop as Ko Se-Yeon and Cha Min, respectively. It tells the story of two people who die and come back to life because of the mysterious bead Abyss. The twist in the tale is they return to the land of living in different appearances.
Apart from the lead cast, Abyss also stars Kwon Soo-Hyun, Lee Si-Un, Song Sang-Eun, Han So-Hee, Yun Yoo-Sun, Park Sung-Yeon, Lee Sung-Jae, Lee Cheol-Min, Ha Sung-Kwang, and Seo In-Guk.
