Paris Hilton is remembering her great aunt Elizabeth Taylor on what would have been her 92nd birthday.

On Tuesday, the Paris in Love star, 43, took to her Instagram Story to share two throwback photos, with the first showing herself as a kid posing with her father Rick, mom Kathy, sister Nicky and Taylor, who died in March 2011 at the age of 79.

The DJ and heiress then added another shot just showing her younger self stood beside the late icon. "Happy birthday to the forever iconic Elizabeth Taylor," she wrote alongside the images, adding a birthday cake and red heart emoji.

This isn't the first time Paris has paid tribute to Taylor on social media. In March 2022, the singer posted a photo of herself and her dad, 68, posing with Taylor in the same outfits as the snaps she shared on Tuesday.

"#FlashbackFriday As the icon Elizabeth Taylor once said, 'It’s all about hope, kindness and a connection with one another.' ✨🥰💎 #FBF #Iconic 💫👑," she captioned the previous post.

Paris' great uncle Conrad Hilton Jr., who died in 1969, was Taylor's first husband. They were married for eight months between 1950 and 1951. Taylor went on to remarry seven more times after their divorce.

Taylor's family continues to preserve her legacy, with her granddaughter Laela Wilding telling PEOPLE back in 2016, "Her heart was huge. She had such a huge impact with her activism and she was so full of life and love. She made a big impact on us."

“Family was number one for her. We had a family where we all loved one another, her children and her grandchildren, and it comes from her desire to bring us all together," Wilding, now 53, said at the time.

Wilding reflected on there being a "real tenderness and vulnerability" to her grandmother, who "had the soul of an artist." "She was sensitive and a good listener. You could cry on her shoulder and tell her anything. And she was a really good hugger," she added.
