Paris Hilton offers advice on motherhood to pregnant Lindsay Lohan: 'Soak in every moment'

Paris Hilton is offering her advice on motherhood to Lindsay Lohan.

Hilton, who announced the birth of her first child with husband Carter Reum in January, reacted to the news of Lohan's pregnancy in an interview with Access Hollywood.

"I'm so excited for her," Hilton, 42, said in a clip of the interview published Tuesday. "It's just exciting to see all of my friends growing up and starting families on their own. My advice is just to soak in every moment, because it's just so precious."

Lohan, 36, announced her pregnancy on Instagram Tuesday, where she posted a photo of a baby onesie that said, "Coming soon..." and tagged her husband Bader Shammas.

"We are blessed and excited!" Lohan captioned the post along with baby emojis.

"She is pregnant and excited for this next chapter," Lohan's publicist Leslie Sloane confirmed in a statement. This is Lohan and Shammas' first child together.

In January, Hilton shocked fans when she announced on Instagram that she and her husband Reum, 42, had welcomed their first child together.

"For now we've just been keeping everything really private," Hilton said on her podcast in February. "Not even my mom or my sister or my best friends – no one knew literally until he was over a week old, so it was really nice just to have that with Carter be our own journey together, because I just feel that my life has been so public, and I've never really had anything just be mine."

Hilton added she decided to keep her baby news under wraps even from close relatives because of the challenges of keeping a secret while living in the public eye.

"If you tell one person, then they tell someone, and then all of a sudden it's in TMZ or Page Six," she said. "So Carter and I literally made a pact together that we would not tell anyone."
