Paris Hilton Admits to Being Lonely in New YouTube Doc About Her Life
Believe it or not, but even celebrities such as Paris Hilton find themselves feeling lonely and somewhat isolated from the world.
The former TV star has partnered with YouTube as she readies up for the release of her upcoming documentary, This Is Paris. And from what’s been gathered, the blonde bombshell is expected to show a different side to herself that fans have never seen before.
While at a Television Critics Association panel to talk about her doc with YouTube, Hilton explained the project to be anything but another reality show for fans to be entertained by.

Paris says she’s not having to put on an act and pretend to be somebody that she’s not. Instead, she wants her millions of fans to get a glimpse into her life, but also see the downside of it all.
“This is completely different than anything I’ve ever done,” the 38-year-old said. "Anything I’ve ever done before was more of me just playing that character again.”
What makes 'This Is Paris' different from the likes of 'The Simple Life' and 'The World According to Paris' simply comes down to the fact that the socialite can let her guard down and be her true self.
"With this, I really just wanted to pull the curtain back, and show my real life, and talk about things that are very hard to talk about, and things that I’ve experienced in life that I’ve never discussed before.”
Further on, Paris was sure to let it be known that she has no regrets signing on to do shows such as 'The Simple Life' with former best pal Nicole Richie, but it wasn’t exactly the reality she wanted to portray to the world.
Hilton says she quickly saw how people perceived her to be a “blonde airhead” after the show premiered in 2003. And while it bothered her to be criticized by viewers and online trolls, she took it on her chin and continued playing the character people had grown to love her for being.
There's no denying that flying across the country in private jets and living luxuriously sounds like a lot of fun, but leave it to Paris to tell her fans that such kind of a lifestyle can also get very lonely.
In the midst of filming for the documentary, she realized a lot about herself, with most of those things being centered around the character she created at the beginning of her career.
But Paris is sure that viewers will be left with a different impression of her once they’ve seen her new YouTube documentary.
"I’ve been judged based on a character that I created at the beginning of my career. Now I feel like it’s finally time that people see who the real Paris is.”
'This Is Paris' is expected to premiere in May on YouTube.
