Parents of OnlyFans Model Accused of Murdering Boyfriend Are Arrested Themselves
According to online records from the Travis County Sheriff's Office, Courtney Clenney's parents were arrested on Tuesday on out-of-state undetermined felony charges

Deborah and Kim Clenney on Dec. 8, 2022The parents of OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney, who is accused of murdering her boyfriend Christian Obumseli in 2022 and is currently awaiting trial, have been arrested.
According to online records obtained by PEOPLE from the Travis County Sheriff's Office, Deborah Lyn, 57, and Kim Clenney, 60, were arrested on Tuesday on out-of-state undetermined felony charges at Travis County Jail in Texas.
While Deborah was booked at 7:36 PM local time, Kim was booked at 7:34 PM, and they were both held without bond for another agency.
“Our agency will not issue a statement,” a spokesperson from Travis County Sheriff’s Office said after PEOPLE reached out. “We assisted in executing an out of state warrant and have no involvement in the case.”

In a statement shared with CBS News, the lawyer expressed his surprise by the new arrests.

Kim Clenney at his daughter's trial in Dec. 2022"We're extremely surprised and very concerned about the arrest of the Clenney family; this could be an example of prosecutorial overreach and misconduct,” the statement read.
"We believe the Clenney family has been targeted with some trumped-up charges to discredit them in the press and make their lives miserable,” Prieto added. “It stinks of a power play by prosecutors to control the narrative. This Thursday, the State is seeking a gag order in the case.”
He continued that “they've gone after Courtney's Mom and Dad in such a way that requires them to spend considerable time in jail without bond."
Prieto went on to add that the prosecutors were causing a “media mileage in this one with little or no evidence as we have yet to know what the true accusations are.”

“It's unnecessary and distasteful,” he concluded before adding, “All they had to do was a phone call and we would have been in court. It's so inexcusable."
