Parenthood (1989) takes inspiration from the real-life parenting experiences of screenwriters Lowell Ganz, Babaloo Mandel, Ron Howard, and Brian Grazer (producer). The movie revolves around Gil Buckman, the father of three children, who has a hard time keeping up with his children’s psychological and emotional issues. In between his parenting struggles, he learns that a fourth baby is on its way.
