Paradigm Signs Writer-Producer Paul Guyot

Paradigm has signed Paul Guyot, a writer-producer who most recently penned The Black 22s. The drama for National Geographic and A&E is based on the true story of a brilliant African-American detective and one of America’s first all-black police squads in St. Louis. Guyot will executive produce along with David Oyelowo and John Rogers, and Bharat Nalluri is attached to direct.

Guyot’s credits also include co-executive producer on The Librarians and co-producer on Leverage, both for TNT. He also co-wrote with Dean Devlin the spec script for the upcoming Warner Bros/Skydance film, Geostorm.

Guyot, who had been with UTA, continues to be managed by Writ Large and repped by Morris Yorn.
