Ozzy Osbourne's fans may be alarmed to see that the Prince of Darkness has gotten markedly frail-looking. The legendary rocker was spotted appearing delicate and walking with a cane in Beverly Hills, California on Friday – Ozzy, 71, was supported as he walked the streets by long-term wife Sharon.

Ozzy was snapped by British newspaper The Daily Mail. While this music face is past his peak, he hadn't let go of his trademark gothic style, wearing a black sweater and open coat, jeans, and a heavy chunky neck chain with a cross on it.

Ozzy has made major headlines on account of his health. 2019 saw the star hospitalized several times – first, in February following flu complications and an upper-respiratory infection – then again later in the year following a fall.

It was during Ozzy's recovery from pneumonia that he was forced to cancel his tour dates.

"I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates," he said in a statement.

"Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going," he added.

The holiday period hasn't been easy for the Osbourne family, with the Black Sabbath singer's health troubles making waves on social media. Ozzy's fall last year saw him hurt his spine and be advised by doctors not to fly.

2020 has already seen Kelly Osbourne take to Instagram regarding her dad.

"Today I had a wonderful start to 2020. I went out to lunch with my family. Then spent the rest of the day laughing and hanging out with my dad," Kelly wrote.

"I come home to read sickening articles about my dad supposedly being on his 'death bed' sometimes the media makes me sick!!! It's no secret that my dad has had a rough year when it comes to his health but come the F— on this is utter bulls—," she added.

But Ozzy Maintains He's 'Alive And Kicking'

Ozzy has been active on social media, reminding fans that he's alive and kicking, although it looks like the "death bed" rumors have brought out the rocker's own family – in a humorous way.

A snap of Ozzy posted to his Instagram yesterday now comes with a comment from son Jack – and thousands of likes.

"Wait what?? I thought you were meant to be on your death bed? What are you doing up?" Jack sarcastically wrote.

Ozzy has 3.5 million Instagram followers.

Sharon, meanwhile, revealed that Christmas 2019 was the first in 40 years that wouldn't be spent with her husband. Speaking on British daytime show "Loose Women," the "X Factor" judge revealed how the holidays would be panning out.

"It’s the first time – this will be our 40th Christmas – that we’re not together. It’s going to be different. Kelly and I are going out for our Christmas lunch," Sharon said.

"He fell and damaged his spine. It’s kind of been a domino effect, one thing happens then another thing…The doctors didn’t want him to get on the plane. And Ozzy I must say is quite nervous about flying all that way," she added.
