Panthers break down postgame huddle with shoutout to owner Jerry Richardson
It has been less than two weeks since news broke that the Carolina Panthers were investigating allegations of workplace misconduct against owner Jerry Richardson.
Since then, the NFL has reportedly taken over the investigation. Details of the allegations have surfaced. Richardson has been accused of highly inappropriate comments and conduct both sexual and racial in nature.
Richardson, 81, announced soon after the various reports came to light that he would sell the team. On Sunday, he attended what could be his final Panthers home game as the team’s owner.
The Panthers came from behind to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and in doing so clinched a playoff berth. But a controversial decision from head coach Ron Rivera after the game has fans talking:

Rivera had the players break down the postgame huddle to “Mr. Richardson.”
“Do me a favor, Mr. Richardson on three,” Rivera said. “One, two, three … ” Most, if not all, of the players responded with “Mr. Richardson.”
