The spicy menu item will be available from Nov. 8 through Jan. 2
Things are heating up at Panda Express.
The Chinese fast food spot is teaming up with the popular YouTube hot wings tasting show Hot Ones for a spicy menu item, PEOPLE can exclusively announce.
Naturally, the brands are partnering on a chicken dish: the blazing bourbon chicken. The limited-time item combines crispy boneless chicken and vegetables in a sweet and spicy bourbon sauce (which gets its heat from Hot Ones Last Dab Apollo hot sauce). The blazing bourbon chicken will be Panda Express’s "spiciest dish to date," according to a press release.
In First We Feast's hit YouTube series, host Sean Evans interviews celebs like Paul Rudd, Jennifer Lawrence and Idris Elba while they simultaneously eat 10 chicken wings that get progressively spicier. The internet show has even spawned a hot sauce business so viewers can join in on the fun at home — and now at Panda Express.
The blazing bourbon chicken, which is available now until Jan. 2, will be served at Panda Express locations exclusively in Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Texas and Washington, D.C..

Other saucy collabs from Hot Ones includes this summer's parntership with Hot Pockets. The brands teamed up to create four new Hot Pocket flavors that use some of the sauces featured on the show.
On the milder end, the spicy garlic chicken and bacon Hot Pockets get a kick of the Hot Ones’ classic garlic fresno hot sauce.
Two of the other flavors promise to turn up the heat with the red and green variations of the Hot Ones Los Calientes hot sauce. The smoky green chile cheesesteak uses the Los Calientes Verdes sauce while the hot habanero pepperoni and sausage hot pocket use the Los Calientes Rojo variation to bring the heat.
The final flavor dares to be the “hottest pockets evers,” according to the Hot Pockets website. Like the Panda Express dish, the fiery hot pepperoni flavor also uses the Last Dab hot sauce. The condiment is so spicy it often makes stars’ stomachs churn.
