Pamela Anderson Posts About Her 'Happy Life' After Secretly Marrying Producer Jon Peters

Pamela Anderson secretly married her boyfriend, movie producer Jon Peters, over the weekend. Ahead of the big occasion, the "Baywatch" star shared a series of Instagram posts about love.

In one of them she wrote that "love is in the air," and in another she said simply "happy wife," which is presumably meant as an abbreviated version of the old saying, "happy wife, happy life."

In one post, she shared several messages from Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh.

“To lovewithout knowing how to lovewounds the personwe love.” “understanding is love’s other name”

“Often,we get crushes on othersnot because we truly loveand understand them, but to distract ourselvesfrom our suffering. When we learn to loveand understand ourselvesand have true compassionfor ourselves, then we can truly loveand understandanother person”

Another caption as from famed essayist Anaïs Nin:

Good Morning ... “You haven't loved yet," he said. "You've only been trying to love; beginning to love. Trust alone is not love, illusion is not love, desire alone is not love. All these were paths leading you out of yourself, it is true, and so you thought they led to another, but you never reached the other. You were only on the way.

Please understand I am in full rebellion against my own mind, that when I live,I live by impulse,by emotion,by white heat.

Peters released an unusual statement about their nuptials shortly after they were married.

"Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much," he said.

He added, "There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but — for 35 years — I’ve only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild — in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated."

Anderson also released a statement:

"Jon is the original ‘bad boy’ of Hollywood – no one compares –I love him deeply like family. His life used to scare me. So much for a girl like me. Now I’ve seen more of life and realize ... He’s been there all along. Never failed me –I’m ready now and he’s ready too – We understand and respect each other – We love each other without conditions. – I’m a lucky woman. – Proof God has a plan."
