Pamela Anderson Is Making Her Movie Comeback With This A-List Action Star & We Couldn't Be Happier

Pamela Anderson has played the long game in Hollywood, and it has been paying off big time over the last year. Ever since she debuted her no-makeup look and basically started a beauty revolution; fans have been clamoring for more of the Baywatch star. Well, they are now getting their wish as the 56-year-old actress returns to the big screen in a classic comedy reboot.

Next summer, July 18, 2025, to be exact, Anderson will be on the big screen with Liam Neeson in the Naked Gun reboot, according to Deadline. The resurgence of the successful 1980s and 1990s franchise will surely showcase her comedic chops. The parody genre film was originally based off of Leslie Nielsen’s short-lived 1982 TV show, Police Squad!, where the scenes leaned into the absurd. He took the bumbling character, Lt. Frank Drebin, to the movie theaters with much greater success.

Anderson’s renaissance might have been born out of the 2022 Pam & Tommy Hulu series about her and then-husband Tommy Lee’s stolen sex tape, but she turned the story around for herself. She didn’t want to revisit that painful time in her life, so she instead spun the narrative in a positive direction. In 2023, Netflix allowed her to share her side of the story with Pamela: A Love Story along with the publication of her memoir, Love, Pamela. Both were huge hits with fans, who saw her true character, not just her bombshell good looks. 

She told Variety earlier this year that she finally feels “seen” by Hollywood. “I feel embraced. I’ve had some incredible opportunities come our way. But again, we like to do things in our own unique way,” she explained. “There’s no formula that we’re following. We’re really going on gut instinct and keeping it like it always has been, just authentic and doing our best.” Anderson finds it an “empowering time” for her because she’s discovered her voice and where she can make an impact.

“So this is the time to really embrace who I am. Myself. I think you can kind of live in a character, and you start believing what other people say about you,” Anderson summed up. “I’ve finally been able to strip all that away and feel really free.” Get ready for Anderson’s big-screen return because she’s ready to dazzle Hollywood with her true comedic talents.
