Pamela Anderson isn’t walking back on her decision to go makeup-free, she’s leaning so far into it that her natural beauty secured her a new campaign. The 56-year-old actress refreshingly stars in The Laundress ad without a stitch of makeup and with her gray roots showing through — and she looks absolutely stunning.

The “Love at First Wash” campaign features Anderson doing her chores at her beautiful Vancouver Island home in Canada. Looking like a breath of fresh air in a white dress and oversized fleece, her hair is tied up in a messy bun with a scrunch and a peep of silver hair shows at her hairline. Her authenticity shines through in an era that has been heavily influenced by the beauty standards of the Kardashians and TikTok — Anderson is ushering in the official de-influencing era. She’s telling everyone, “Just be you.”

The Baywatch star sweetly shares why doing laundry is her “happy place” because it’s a “self-care ritual” for her. The “meditative” and peaceful video gives a glimpse of things that are important to Anderson — from her playful pup to snapshots of her sons, Brandon Thomas, 28, and Dylan Jagger, 25, in her laundry room. “You just gotta have fun with everything you do. I think that’s kind of been my thing, is that no matter what you’re doing, you’re just having some fun,” she explained in the campaign. And staying true to her Instagram account, Anderson shared a “Laundry is life” poem for her followers.

Anderson’s epiphany about beauty and choosing to let some societal expectations go came at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. She told Vogue France that it was a “freestyle” moment, it wasn’t orchestrated by a PR team which is why her makeup-free movement feels so organic. “I don’t need a stylist. I don’t have a stylist. I don’t have a glam team,” she said. “I feel as a woman and a woman of my age, and a woman in the public eye… it’s also your job to be a model of everything. Just all sorts of choices. So I am just being me, kind of who I am, in all these great clothes running around Paris.”

And her fans are favorably responding to Anderson’s call for women to be authentically themselves. “How does she make even laundry beautiful,” asked one follower. Another added, “I see you moving into a whole new world/reality and its really beautiful for everyone.” And it looks like Anderson’s message is getting across loudly and clearly with one user noting, “I will buy whatever you are selling. ‘In Pam We Trust.'” That has to be music to Anderson’s ears, her de-influencing era is officially here.
