Pamela Anderson Announces She's Free of Hepatitis C

Here’s some hopeful news to start your week: Pamela Anderson has announced that she is free of is hepatitis C.

The former Baywatch star celebrated the good news the best way she knows how — by sharing a very smiley nude pic on Instagram.

“I am CURED!!!” she captioned the photo. “I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment. It will be more available soon. I know treatment is hard to get still… #dontlosehope #itworkedforme #thereisacure #love #happy #americanliverfoundation #celebration #Idontknowwhattodo #iwanttohelp #cannes #iloveboats #onthesea #free.”

The 48-year-old revealed that she had been diagnosed with the liver disease in 2002 and claimed that she contracted it by sharing a tattoo needle with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee. She once told People that the diagnosis initially felt like a “death sentence.”

In September, the blond bombshell told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that she was undergoing a new treatment for the liver disease and expected to be cured by November. It looks like the new, FDA-approved drug regimen worked.
