Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s wild and crazy romance is now history, but the pair reunited — platonically — for a photo op Wednesday night.

The exes, who famously married just four days after meeting back in 1995 (she wore a white bikini), were both in attendance at PETA’s 35th anniversary gala at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, where the Baywatch alum, 48, acted as co-emcee with Anjelica Huston, and the Mötley Crüe drummer, 52, was an honoree. Anderson and Lee, who have two sons together, cordially greeted one another at the event with a kiss and posed together for photos.

If you are hoping for a romantic reunion of the most downloaded duo, you are just plain stuck in the ‘90s. The pair, who were known for their fun, over-the-top red carpet ensembles as well as some dark, troubling times, have long moved on. Lee was accompanied by his fiancée, Sofia Toufa, at the event. The three posed for a photo together. Pam and Tommy didn’t even sit at the same table at the animal lovers event.

That doesn’t mean they don’t now look back on their relationship — which officially ended in divorce in 1998 though continued on for several more years — with affection. Anderson, who has been doing lots of interviews to promote her new book, Raw, recently called Lee the love of her life.

“There was Tommy and then there was nobody else,” the blonde, who went on to marry three more times to two different people, told People in August. “He was the love of my life. We had a wild and crazy beginning that was too much for both of us.”

Pamela continued, “I had beautiful children with him,” referring to Brandon, 19, and Dylan, 17. “My kids are grateful to be born out of true love. Everything else I was trying to piece together.”

She also addressed their status today, saying, “We’re good friends, we’re getting better at co-parenting our kids. He’s such a supporter of mine and I’m really happy we’re on such great terms… There’s a connection there that will always be.”

And that connection was on full display last night.
