The consecration of the marriage of Emerson Davis and Zachary Ailes, both of Hillsdale, Michigan, took place Dec. 16 in Palm Beach.

The Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Glen J. Pothier presided over the ceremony, which took place at St. Edward Catholic Church and consecrated an October elopement in Warren, Ohio, the hometown of the bridegroom's late father.

The bride is the daughter of Duane and Sheila Davis of Charlevoix, Michigan.

The bridegroom is the son of Elizabeth Ailes of Palm Beach and of the late Roger Ailes, founder of Fox News.

The bride wore an ivory column gown with a cathedral train and carried a bouquet of pink roses. She was attended by Heidi Meehan of Greenville, South Carolina, as the matron of honor.

Groomsmen were Forrest Andresick of Liberty Lake, Washington, and Benjamin Wilson of Palantine, Illinois, both former college classmates of the groom.

The bride attended Michigan State University, where she majored in international relations. She later worked in the Michigan state legislature.

The bridegroom graduated from Flathead High School in Kalispell, Montana, and earned a bachelor’s degree in political philosophy from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan.

He is currently in the master of statesmanship program at Hillsdale and expects to receive his graduate degree in May 2025.

The couple met in Michigan.

Following the ceremony, the bridegroom's mother hosted a reception at her Palm Beach home, attended by Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Dr. Khalil M Habib, former New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and his son, Greg Kelly.

After the reception, the couple left on a honeymoon to the Florida Keys.

They will live in Michigan until the bridegroom receives his graduate degree, after which they intend to make their home "somewhere out West."
