Palm Beach style icon Iris Apfel is proof that the the best life-extending exercise is being true to oneself.

The Eternal Teenager, in whose honor Mattel created an Iris Barbie, celebrated her 102nd birthday on Tuesday and proved that she is still in the pink by posting a Barbie-toned pic on her Instagram feed.

Captioned “102 today … who would’ve thought!!” the post features Apfel in head-to-toe pink with pink balloons floating over her head and birthday wishes from bold-face names such as Paula Abdul, Donatella Versace, Lilly Aldridge, Joely Richardson, Paris Hilton and Jennifer Flavin Stallone.

Iris celebrated the milestone with dinner at Tutto il Giorno in Southampton with Donna Karan, Christie Brinkley and Brinkley’s daughter, Alexa Ray Joel.

Clever Christie wrote a birthday poem in honor of the occasion.

She’s smart and savvy and extremely wittyAnd wants everyone to know that individuality is prettyThat we should all be ourselves, one of a kindGood advice like that is hard to find.So thank you Iris for all you do,To say to people, ‘You do you!’Happy Birthday Iris! We LOVE YOU!

Paperwork

The news about Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello ending their marriage reminded us that the union began right here in Palm Beach, where they married at The Breakers one drizzly November weekend, surrounded by Hollywood A-listers such as Channing Tatum and Reese Witherspoon.

Seeing as how we were a little fuzzy on the actual date — who would have thought all those 'tinis were bad for the brain? — we went poking around the Clerk of Courts archives for the marriage license record.

Nothing. No license for Sofia Vergara, or Sofia Gonzalez, or Joe/Joseph Manganiello.

Wait. Isn't it the thing that is signed by the officiant and two witnesses, who gives it back to the couple, who mail it to the court clerk, who puts it in the records? And if it's not back in the hands of the Court Clerk within 60 days, it's null and void there's no marriage?

Maybe we just missed it.
