After Paige DeSorbo’s first pillow collection with Craig Conover’s Sewing Down South sold out, the couple knew they needed to do another one.

“The first collection was just so fun and everyone reacted so positive to it that we wanted to bring it back,” Conover, 34, tells PEOPLE in a joint interview with DeSorbo, 30. “Our first collection was a limited capsule collection and it sold out so fast. Working together is a big step in our relationship, and it was fun enough that we wanted to do it again!”

Similar to the first line, the new Paige 2.0 Collection — which features four pillows and drops Tuesday on Sewing Down South’s website before launching at BravoCon — incorporates DeSorbo’s beloved black-and-white color palette and black leather.

“It's hard to mess up black and white,” DeSorbo says. “So the black-and-white collection is really for the people that love interior design, but might be a little bit nervous. This is a great way to start, with black and white, and you can build upon both collections.”

The Paige 2.0 Collection introduces a fun element that the first one didn’t have: a snake.

“I've always seen snakes in high-end fashion, and I thought it was a really cool idea,” the Summer House star says. “I thought, because it's almost Halloween, it's Scorpio season, I felt like it was a little dark and naughty and definitely a little different than Sewing Down South. I feel my presence a lot with it.”

Conover says the snake “gives you a little peek into me and Paige's relationship” because “we're a little hidden.”

The Southern Charm star won’t hide how much he loves DeSorbo’s eye for design, though. “Paige is so good at styling things,” Conover says. “She really is a genius with that stuff.”

DeSorbo says sometimes Conover helps her home in on her ideas for Sewing Down South.

“He is the brains behind Sewing Down South, so if I come up with an idea, he knows if the fabric will work, if it'll look good on a pillow,” she continues. “Sometimes I'll have some ideas in my head and then he's really the one that will flesh them out for me. But when it comes to the photo shoot and the colors and what the vibe is, I feel like Craig definitely lets me pull all the outfits. That is one time where he does not comment on whatever outfit I put him in because he knows it's going to look good in the photo shoot.”

When their opinions do vary, “Craig definitely picks his battles,” DeSorbo says. “I think that I am a little bit more understanding.”

Conover has a slightly different take. “Paige picks which battle she'd like to be in because she knows whatever she says is going to go,” he says.

But the Paige 2.0 Collection allowed Conover and DeSorbo, who have been dating since April 2021, to incorporate their mutual love of modern design and New York style.

“We got to be explorative with the designs, but keep it in Paige's wheelhouse of that black and white palette,” Conover says. “We're fortunate that we have the two areas that we spend time in. We've got New York fashion, which I'm still trying to figure out. I'll be so uncomfortable in what she puts me in and I'm like, ‘There's no way that people wear this in public,’ and then I'll get outside and I'll be like, ‘Okay, I look pretty cool.’ And I think Charleston gives Paige a canvas to play with and be a little different. There's certain things down here that you just don't see in New York.”

Ultimately, the couple believe they do a good job of keeping work separate from their personal lives.

“We love being at home — I am a couch girl — so I think we are really good at staying home and separating work and our private life,” DeSorbo says.

The Pillow Talk: What’s Wrong with My Sewing? author thinks they’ve been able to strike that balance because they both understand being on reality TV.

“In our downtime, I think we appreciate it the same because we have similar jobs, and we enjoy getting to navigate life together,” Conover says. “I think that's the dichotomy of our relationship is we do work together, but that's our life. We get to share it with everyone, which is really fun most of the time, unless I'm crying on camera.”
