The hits keep coming for the Green Bay Packers as Thursday night’s showdown with the Arizona Cardinals approaches.

Receiver Allen Lazard has joined teammates Davante Adams and Malik Taylor on the league’s COVID-19 reserve list. The Packers announced the move on Tuesday, just one day after Adams was placed on the reserve list.

The Packers are in advanced COVID protocols after Adams and defensive coordinator Joe Barry tested positive. Like Adams and Barry, Lazard will be expected to miss Thursday night’s game against the Cardinals.

Matt LaFleur’s team is down to Randall Cobb, Equanimeous St. Brown and Amari Rodgers as the only available receivers on the roster. Marquez Valdes-Scantling could come off injured reserve and play, and Juwann Winfree and Chris Blair are both available on the practice squad.

Lazard, who produced 146 receiving yards in a win over the Saints without Adams available last season, caught five passes for a season-high 60 yards and a touchdown last week against Washington. He would have been a starter with Adams out on Thursday night.

The Packers are testing players every day in the advanced protocols. More positive tests could still arrive before Thursday night.
