Austin favorite P. Terry's Burger Stand is now cooking for the Bastrop community with the opening of a new location Wednesday.

The new restaurant opened at 484 Texas 71 West. It serves as the chain's 31st Central Texas location, and it appears to be the first Bastrop location.

Operating with only a double drive-thru, the Bastrop P. Terry's serves all the classics from hamburgers to cheeseburgers to fries to milkshakes to oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

It serves customers from 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 7 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of this thriving community,” said P. Terry's CEO Todd Coerver in a statement. “We look forward to serving the fine folks of Bastrop for many years to come.”
