Poor P!NK can’t catch a break. During her concert in San Antonio on Monday night (September 25th), the singer kicked out an audience member who took the show as an opportunity to protest circumcision.

In fan-captured footage from the night, a man near the front of the crowd was holding up his phone with a message that reportedly read “circumcision: cruel and harmful.” After catching sight of it herself, P!NK responded: “Oh, you’re making a whole point right now, aren’t you? Do you feel good about yourself? You spent all this money to come here and do that? I could buy a Birkin bag with that type of money… Get that shit out of here.”

Despite the low roar of booing from the rest of the audience, the man turned around to flash the message to everyone near him. “He wants all of you to read it,” P!NK went on, as security began to intervene and remove him from the crowd. “He came here tonight to talk about circumcision … Get it out, get that cancer out, man.”

P!NK apparently became the center of a pretty weird controversy back in 2019 when anti-circumcision activists began scrutinizing a candid Instagram photo she posted from a beach trip with her then-two-year-old son. “There’s something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there,” she responded at the time, after deleting the initial post. “Going off about my baby’s penis? About circumcision??? Are you for real?”

But whatever stance you may take in the circumcision debate, we can probably all agree that Monday night’s incident probably wasn’t the most effective way to go about it. See a clip below.

Let’s not forget it was only a couple of months ago when a different P!NK fan threw their mother’s ashes to the singer onstage mid-concert. You can grab tickets here for remaining dates on her “Summer Carnival” tour, but please leave the performers alone if you attend.
