Free dumplings, BOGO burgers and more fast food deals in honor of Valentine's Day

PF Chang's is giving dumplings to people recently dumped

You don’t have to worry about feeling hungry if you aren’t feeling lovey-dovey on Valentine’s Day.

P.F. Chang’s is offering complimentary dumplings to anyone who’s recently been dumped this Valentine’s Day.

Now through Feb. 21, heartbroken customers can text CHANGSDUMPLINGS to 855-697-6181 to score a six-count of shrimp or pork dumplings. The text must include a description of the breakup or screenshots to receive instructions on how to redeem the dumplings via delivery or in the restaurant. (So basically, they're asking for receipts.)

While the last day to send your text is National Break Up Day (Feb. 21), fans can redeem the dumplings through the end of the month.

The fast casual Chinese restaurant is catering to the solo people, but other restaurant chains have deals for couples.

Shake Shack fans can buy a Korean BBQ burger or Korean-style fried chicken sandwich and get a second one for free now through Feb. 27. The delivery-only deal must be placed on the Shake Shack app or via shakeshack.com.

Plus, the burger joint is transforming select restaurants in seven cities into “Love Shacks” on Feb. 14. With a reservation, guests can enjoy table service and romantic decorations like flowers and candles. The Valentine’s Day event features two prix fixe tasting menus to choose from: “Swicy Date Night” or “Umami Dinner Party.”

TGI Fridays will have customers saying TGI Valentine’s Day next week. Guests can split a three course meal for two for $50 through Feb. 19. The deal includes one shared appetizer, two entreés and a brownie for dessert. Half-priced bottles of wine can also be added to the meal.

For a sweet lunch deal, Panera has just the thing. Starting on Feb. 14, Panera loyalty members can grab a discounted You Pick Two meal to share with your Valentine. Customers can choose two items from a designated list —  including a cup of macaroni and cheese, pizza or half salad — for 20% off.
