Ozzy Osbourne may have sung about being “Under the Graveyard” a few years ago, but he apparently danced on one way before that.

The new revelation surfaced on May 16 in The Times, which detailed how, back in the '70s, the former Black Sabbath frontman, 75, was once seen dancing and howling among gravestones near Rockfield Studios, a recording studio near Monmouth in the south Wales. In an interview with the outlet, Tiffany Murray, daughter of Rockfield’s former resident cordon bleu chef, Joan, recalled waking up one night and witnessing Osbourne's bewildering behavior.

“He truly scared the living s--- out of me,” she said. “Even now, encountering Ozzy Osbourne in a graveyard at night would be the stuff of nightmares.”

Murray — who wrote a memoir called My Family and Other Rock Stars about spending her youth at Rockfield — said the “Crazy Train” singer quickly made amends for accidentally scaring her as a kid by gifting her a van full of toys from Harrods.

“I still have the three little felt hippos, although the eyes are missing,” she recalled. “That episode taught me that rock stars have license to do really big wrong things but also the resources for really big sorrys too.”

Murray also remembered how Osbourne would sometimes appear in the French windows at Rockfield Studios firing a shotgun.

“It was therapy for him,” she said with a shrug. “I don’t think you could do that now under current health and safety regulations.”

Late last year, Osbourne told Metal Hammer that he was ready to get back to touring following a series of spinal operations and undergoing his “final surgery” in September. "I’m feeling OK – it was just dragging on,” the singer said in his health update. “I thought I’d be back on my feet months ago, I just couldn’t get used to this mode of living, constantly having something wrong. I can’t walk properly yet, but I’m not in any pain anymore, and the surgery on my spine went great.”

The newly announced Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee also shared that he wants to make "one more album" before retiring.

A few months later, in January, Osbourne’s wife and manager Sharon revealed that the rocker is planning two final concerts in his Birmingham, England, hometown as a farewell to fans.

“He won’t tour again but we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like ‘I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye properly,’” the former The Talk co-host, 71, shared, per Rolling Stone UK. However, exact dates for those shows have not yet been announced or scheduled.

“We will do it in Aston Villa where Ozzy is from,” she continued. “His voice is still absolutely perfect. And all the time he has been off, he still does his singing lessons, so his voice is perfect. And he can joke yeah.”
