T-Pain can now count Ozzy Osbourne as a fan.

The "Prince of Darkness," 75, praised the rapper (whose real name is Faheem Rasheed Najm), 39, on X (formerly known as Twitter) after he shared a video of him performing the 1970 Black Sabbath classic "War Pigs" on stage, alongside a caption featuring the song's lyrics: "Generals gathered their masses 🎸."

"This is the best cover of 'War Pigs' ever," Osbourne declared in a quote tweet.

He added: "Why didn’t you guys call me?"

T-Pain delivered an awestruck reply to Osbourne's post on Wednesday, writing, "You’re always invited. Top of the list, every time!! Thank you so much. Means a lot coming from the greatness himself 🙇🏿‍♂️."

He commented again on Thursday. "First thing I said was “wow” 🙏🏿," the "I Like Dat" performer wrote. "This is an honor and the greatest form of validation. Thank you brother @OzzyOsbourne."

T-Pain originally covered "War Pigs" on his covers album On Top of the Covers, which he released in March 2023.

The project featured the hip-hop artist's renditions of songs like Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and Sam Smith's "Stay with Me."

In a statement around the time of its release, shared by Complex, T-Pain said the record was "years in the making."

"It got put on hold for a bit, but now that I’m independent, I’m able to do whatever I want to do through Nappy Boy Entertainment and this is something I’ve felt strongly about for a long time. These songs are not what you’d expect when you hear that T-Pain is doing a covers album and that is what I think is cool about it," he said in the statement.

T-Pain previously showcased on his natural voice when he competed in the first season of the Fox reality competition series The Masked Singer in 2019.

“I didn’t have a chance to come into the game with my natural voice and a lot of my peers did and they get accepted. This helped me get my voice out there,” the two-time Grammy-winning artist said after being declared champion.

In December 2023, T-Pain released a live version of his covers LP titled On Top of the Covers (Live From The Sun Rose).

"For all the people who wanted an album of me singing live, this is my holiday gift to you. For the Tiny Desk & Masked Singer fans & everyone in between, you ain't heard nothing yet. Thank you all for supporting me through this wild journey," his post on X read.
