Ozzy Osbourne Announces Farewell Tour Dates
After closing Black Sabbath’s farewell tour in the band’s hometown of Birmingham, England in February, Ozzy Osbourne has announced dates for his farewell solo tour, which is expected to run into 2020. However, apparently it doesn’t mean he’s retiring, necessarily.
“People keep asking me when I’m retiring,” he said in a press release. “This will be my final world tour, but I can’t say I won’t do some shows here and there.”
The initial dates of the tour cover Mexico, South America and Europe, with Live Nation-produced North American dates to be revealed next year. The tour will see him playing music from all five decades of his career, which began in earnest when Black Sabbath formed in 1968.
For these dates, Osbourne will be joined by longtime collaborators Zakk Wylde (guitar), Blasko (bass), Tommy Clufetos (drums) and Adam Wakeman (keyboards).
