OWN Orders More ‘Love & Marriage’ Huntsville & Detroit; Sets D.C. Return

EXCLUSIVE: OWN has more of the Love & Marriage franchise on the way for 2024 with new seasons of Love & Marriage: Huntsville and Love & Marriage: Detroit ordered. Additionally, new episodes of Love & Marriage: D.C. are set to premiere at 8 p.m. January 27.

New seasons will premiere throughout the new year in the network’s established Saturday night unscripted programming block.

Love & Marriage: Huntsville follows the lives of a group of longtime friends in Huntsville, Alabama: Melody Rodgers and her ex-husband Martell Holt, Maurice and Kimmi Scott, Marsau and LaTisha “Tisha” Scott, as well as beauty maven Stormi Steele and her husband Courtney Beasley, plus Tisha’s cousin KeKe Jabbar. They all have strong personalities and strong points of view, each facing the realities of dealing with the ups and downs of love and marriage while wanting to achieve success. Along the way, there is laughter, tears, and heated arguments as they strive to achieve their dreams.

The series is currently airing all-new episodes at 8 p.m. Saturdays, where it is the night’s top original non-sports series across broadcast and cable with all key African-American demos, driving OWN to be the night’s No. 1 cable network with A.A. W25-54, touts the network.

The season finale is set to air Saturday, December 30. The show’s three-part season reunion, hosted by executive producer Carlos King, will air on Saturday, January 6 (Part One), Saturday, January 13 (Part Two) and Saturday, January 20 (Part Three) at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Love & Marriage: D.C. follows three Black couples in the nation’s capital: Jamie and Erana Tyler, Ashley Silva and on-air personality DJ Quicksilva, and Joi Carter and Clifton Pettie, who first became smitten on OWN’s Ready to Love in 2021. The group of friends navigate their relationships and tight-knit community while living the powerful D.C. lifestyle.

Love & Marriage: Detroit spotlights a city on the rise and where Black culture is strong. The series centers on three African-American couples with deep ties to Detroit who have decided to stay in the city and prove they can provide the best lives possible for their families in this community on a comeback: Russell and Kolby Harris, Brandon and Kristina Bowman Smith, and Anthony and Dr. LaToya Thompson.

Kingdom Reign Entertainment produces all series in the ‘Love & Marriage’ franchise, with ITV America also serving as producer on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville.” King is the executive producer on all three series.
