Of the many, many things we loved about Loki, Owen Wilson's performance as Mobius M. Mobius, the TVA agent with a heart of gold, might top the list. (Or at least tie with Sophia Di Martino's turn as Sylvie.)

Now, if you've ever read or watched an interview with a first-time Marvel-er, you'll know that they vary from superfan to newbie when it comes to comic book knowledge. Regardless, it's always a good story. In our new cover story with Wilson, he talked about how journalists might've read iffy information about what he knew going into the MCU. Or didn't know. We'll let him tell it. “[Journalists] asked me a lot about—‘It sounds like you had to be convinced to do this,’" he said. "I don’t know where they’re getting that. That isn’t true. The director just called me and told me the idea, and I wanted to work on it."

But Wilson quickly corrected himself. And threw some friendly shade at a DC rival.

“Actually, yeah, I probably don’t know that much about it," the actor continued. "I kind of know about Iron Man. I’ve seen Aquaman. He’s swimming in jeans. No one can swim in jeans! That was my argument with the kids about Aquaman.”

Genuinely, we would pay money to listen to Wilson banter with his kids about Aquaman. It wouldn't be surprising if it sounded a lot like Mobius's back-and-forths with the mischievous and already-childlike Loki. Speaking of! When we last saw Mobius in that wild Loki finale, he was in the alternate timeline Loki got booted to after Sylvie killed He Who Remains. So we'll almost certainly see Wilson return to the MCU, right?

"I couldn't even speculate," Wilson said. "Although now that we've sort of put that on the table, the whole time element, I guess Agent Mobius could show up anywhere, even outside the MCU. We might see him if they do a reboot on Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Or Back to the Future. You might see Agent Mobius there. Like if they rent him out, maybe."
