'Outlander' Sneak Peek: Will Anyone Save Claire and Geillis?
On Outlander, Claire Fraser has been in some bad — very bad — situations, but this one is looking hopeless.
In this exclusive sneak peek from Saturday’s new episode, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) is imprisoned alongside Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek), after both women are accused of witchcraft. As Claire Randall, she was a trained nurse with knowledge of 20th century medical practices. But in 18th century Scotland? Her healing powers are considered black magic.
Geillis isn’t worried, though. “Dougal will come for us,” she declares confidently. But Claire is not comforted — she knows that Dougal (Graham McTavish) and her husband, Jamie (Sam Heughan), have been sent away by the head of the clan, Colum (Gary Lewis).

“No one is coming, Geillis!” Claire hisses.
