‘Outlander': Claire and Jamie Want to ‘Start Anew’ In Season 4 Teaser — But It Won’t Be Easy (Video)

Your first look at Season 4 of “Outlander” is finally here.

Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) are trying to begin a new life together, but if the teaser trailer (above) is any indication, it won’t be as easy as it sounds.

“I want us to make a home together,” Claire tells Jamie, who responds that “in North Carolina, we can start anew.”

But there will be plenty of roadblocks in their way, including some violent townspeople and the discovery of silver fillings years before they’re supposed to be invented (remember, this isn’t just any romance — it’s a time traveling romance). Season 4 will have 13 episodes based on “Drums of Autumn,” the fourth book in Diana Gabaldon’s eight-book “Outlander” series. The fourth season will debut on Starz sometime in November of this year, though an exact date is yet to be announced.

“Outlander” was previously renewed through Season 6.

The romantic drama is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Story Mining & Supply Company and Left Bank Pictures in association with Sony Pictures Television. Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, Toni Graphia, Matthew B. Roberts and Andy Harries executive produce.
