Our Favorite Stars Give Back

Some celebrities use their fame to help those in need. In honor of Thanksgiving, we put together some of our favorite stars who spend time standing up for important causes this year.

Beyoncé and her charity #BeyGood jumped into action after the Flint water crisis. It donated filtration pitchers, faucet-mount filters, and truckloads of water to underserved populations in Flint, Mich.

Emma Watson is a megaphone for women’s rights and gender equality and recently spoke out at the United Nations.

Amy Schumer and Seth Rogan are known for their vulgar comedy styles but also for their charitable efforts in 2016. After the tragic shooting at a showing of her film Trainwreck, Schumer teamed up with U.S. senator and second cousin Chuck Schumer. They started a campaign called Enough Is Enough, aimed at stopping gun violence. Seth Rogan and his wife, Lauren, created Hilarity for Charity, which benefits those struggling with Alzheimer’s disease. They host annual variety shows with his famous funny friends to raise money and awareness.
