The Oklahoma Sooners will face the Oregon Ducks for the first time since 2006 when they play in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 29. Held in San Antonio, the bowl game has been played annually since 1993 between teams in the Big 12 and the Pac-12.

Oregon finished their regular season ranked No. 14 after a loss in their conference championship to Utah. Oklahoma ended their season at No. 16 after losing to rival Oklahoma State at the end of November.

Oregon's sole win against Oklahoma came at home in 2006 when they took down the Sooners 34-33. It's the only game to ever have been played in Eugene by the two teams.

The Ducks won the game with a late drive and an onside kick, culminating in game-tying touchdown pass by Dennis Dixon to Brian Paysinger and a game-winning extra point by Paul Martinez in the last minute of the game.

Down by three, Oregon drove towards the end zone in the fourth quarter, but OU's Cliff Ingram intercepted Brady Leaf's pass to seal his team's 17-14 win.
