An OU football legend is joining 'Dancing With the Stars' for its 32nd season

A legendary University of Oklahoma running back will be joining the ranks of "Dancing With the Stars" for the show's 32nd season.

NFL star Adrian Peterson was named Wednesday as part of the cast for the hit tv series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts. Peterson is the 23rd NFL player and third running back to join the show, according to https://soonerswire.usatoday.com.

Peterson will be teamed up with professional dancer Britt Stewart.

After a year of streaming exclusively on Disney+, “DWTS” returns to ABC at 7 p.m. Sept. 26.
