Otherworld named one of the best immersive art experiences in USA Today reader poll

Columbus' Otherworld has been named a top 10 immersive art experience in the country in USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.

Otherworld, which opened at 5819 Chantry Drive on the Southeast Side in 2019, has garnered national attention for its 32,000-square-foot interactive art and storytelling experience, featuring nearly 50 mixed-reality rooms created by artists with backgrounds in a variety of mediums.

A second Otherworld location in Philadelphia is set to open later this summer.

Otherworld was ranked no. 6 in the country for immersive art experiences, with attractions in Oklahoma City, Houston, Miami and St. Louis among the top 5.

Wonderspaces, an interactive and immersive art show with locations in Scottsdale, Philadelphia, Austin and San Diego took the no. 1 spot.

A few Ohio restaurants and attractions have recently made 10Best lists, including Hocking Hills Canopy Tours for best aerial adventure park, Middle West Spirits for best craft vodka distillery, Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen in Mt. Hope for best buffet restaurant, Nomad Ridge at The Wilds in Cumberland for best glamping spot and Castaway Bay in Sandusky for best indoor water park.
