Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell took Oscars viewers back to Barbieland with a delightful performance of their Barbie track “What Was I Made For?”

The pop singer and her brother’s moving rendition was backed by an orchestra that provided additional texture and plenty of violins. Watch video of the performance below.

Eilish and O’Connell, who are the primary songwriters, later won the Oscar for Best Original Song. The category’s other nominees included “The Fire Inside” (from Flamin’ Hot), “It Never Went Away” (American Symphony), “Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People)” (Killers of the Flower Moon) and another Barbie track, “I’m Just Ken.” (Watch Ryan Gosling’s “Ken” performance here.)

The brother-sister duo also won the category in 2022 for “No Time to Die,” the theme song from the film of the same name.

Barbie’s other nominations included Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Ryan Gosling), Best Supporting Actress (America Ferrera), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.

Director Greta Gerwig and lead actress Margot Robbie were two of the night’s biggest snubs, though Gerwig did receive one nomination for writing via the Adapted Screenplay category.
