Oscars 2023: Ariana DeBose, Troy Kotsur among 16 new presenters announced

Ariana DeBose and Troy Kotsur, last year’s supporting winners at the Oscars, are returning as presenters for this year’s ceremony. They are among the 16 presenters announced by producers on Thursday morning. That list includes Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Jennifer Connelly, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael B. Jordan, Dwayne Johnson, Jonathan Majors, Melissa McCarthy, Janelle Monae, Deepika Padukone, Questlove, Zoe Saldaña and Donnie Yen.

There is no word yet on who will perform “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick” (possibly Lady Gaga) or for the emotional In Memoriam” segment.

More presenter announcements are also expected soon by 95th Academy Awards producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner. The Oscars 2023 ceremony takes place on March 12 for ABC. Jimmy Kimmel returns as host for a third time.
