Why it's the Frankmobile now and its connection to Wisconsin

Oscar Mayer was headquartered in Madison for nearly 100 years before relocating to Chicago in 2015.

Oscar Mayer is a part of the Kraft Heinz food and beverage company, which was created in 2015 through the combination of Pittsburgh-based Heinz and suburban Chicago-based Kraft, which was engineered by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway and Brazilian investment firm 3G Capital, according to a previous Journal Sentinel report.

Earlier this year, for the first time since 1936, the Wienermobile got a new name. It was renamed the Frankmobile, which "pays homage" to the brand’s 100% beef franks and new recipe," The Kraft Heinz Company said in May.
