Orion and the Dark, an animated film based on the book by Emma Yarlett, is written by Charlie Kaufman. The movie revolves around a shy kid named Orion, who is riddled with anxiety and irrational fears of bees, dogs, the ocean, and cell phone waves. However, he is paid a visit by the literal embodiment of the thing he’s most scared of – Dark. Dark takes him on a roller coaster ride to prove there’s nothing to be afraid of.

Is there an Orion and the Dark release date?
In June 2023, Netflix confirmed that Orion and the Dark would begin streaming on the platform in 2024. However, no official release date has yet been announced so viewers will have to wait and see when it airs on the streaming giant.
As of now, the streaming platform has assured its viewers that the movie will be released next year. Considering the release patterns and the general timeline, viewers can expect an early-mid 2024 release. However, any unexpected delays as of now have not been accounted for.
