Throughout the history of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, many traditions have popped up for the festival-goers. Of them, the annual Beer Exchange (established in 2014) has become one of the most notable and long-standing. In this week’s High Five Clip, The What Podcast crew go all the way back to 2019 to revisit an interview at the Beer Exchange with some special guests, including two of the event’s organizers, Kevin Barnes and Mitchel Padgett of Camp Reddaroo.

Brad and Barry dive into the hopsy subject with their guests to learn about the original plans for the Beer Exchange. Barnes and Padgett run through the history of the event, including the first beer they ever exchanged, how the idea came to be, and how it became an annual staple.
