Oprah's 'Cherish the Day' Star Alano Miller Temporarily Blinded After Production Light Bursts On Set

Oprah's new tv show had a scary moment on set recently, after one of the star's was temporarily blinded after a production light burst while filming.

We're told, Oprah's new show 'Cherish the Day' was filing in Los Angeles last week, when the star of the show Alano Miller was blinded after light burst while shooting a scene.

A witness on the set tells The Blast, "a set light burned out, and for some reason it made a very bright flash." Miller was "temporarily blinded by the blast, and medics on the set rushed to his aid."

Our sources say, production medics took a look at the actor's eyes and decided to sent him to urgent care.

Doctors determined no permanent damage had been done, and released Miller to return home.

The filming took place late at night, and the production crew was pumped, after the actor returned to set and finished the scenes they were trying scheduled to do that night and early morning.

As one sources put it, "the guy is a champion and we appreciated him returning to finish the job."

The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) green lit the drama which will be produced by famed director Ava DuVernay. The series chronicles the lives of one couple, with each episode spanning a single day.

The show is currently scheduled to premiere in winter 2020.
