I’m all about romanticizing the conventionally “mundane” parts of life. On any given day, you can catch me lighting a candle in my bathroom to set the teeth-brushing ambiance, playing a curated cooking playlist while my dinner sizzles on the stove, or elevating my evening skincare with a spa-like facial steam.
And now, thanks to Cozy Earth, I can romanticize my bathing ritual with the brand’s ultra-plush Waffle Bath Towel Bundle, and my favorite: the luxe Waffle Knit Robe. The brand kindly sent me the entire bundle — which includes two bath towels, two bath sheets, two hand towels, and four washcloths — and once I had my hands on the set that Oprah Winfrey raved about in her 2022 list of Favorite Things, my expectations skyrocketed.
Mind you, my husband and I have had the same set of hand-me-down towels since we got married, so they’re easily outshone. However, the first time I emerged from the shower and wrapped myself in Cozy Earth’s signature bamboo-cotton blend, one thing was for sure: I was never going back.

The towels’ waffle knit texture feels so comforting on the skin, and their heft is soothing in a weighted blanket kind of way, which is telling of their quality. That thickness also makes them super absorbent — there’s absolutely no need for my usual second pass around my body while drying off.

After my initial once-over with a regular towel comes my favorite part: Climbing into the oversized waffle knit robe that awaits me, hanging on my bathroom door. I always said no robe could ever upstage that of my local spa, but it happened. Like the towels, the robe instantly calms me with its weighty hug, and the external waffle knit texture is nicely contrasted by a soft inner terry cloth lining that wicks away any lingering moisture, if there is any.
The garment is the cherry on top of my “everything shower,” and allows me to keep the party going with lotion, skincare, and haircare, all while staying securely in place with its adjustable waist tie. It also has pockets, which makes it extra hard to peel off in exchange for real clothes.

If you don’t want to take my word for it, my husband and our guests are just as hooked. Upon opening our linen closet, they all race to use whatever Cozy Earth is clean, leaving our old towels in the dust. One of our family members said showering at our place felt like doing so at a boutique hotel — a compliment that can be mostly attributed to these towels.
I especially love that the bundle includes bath sheets, which, at 40 by 65 inches, are extra roomy for anyone who needs or wants additional material for wrapping up and drying off. I have the collection in white and have bleached everything multiple times. It has all held up and come clean, including the washcloths that have consistently fielded my leftover eyeliner and mascara.
One note: I’ve noticed some fraying on a towel after a thread got caught in our dryer. But our dryer, like our other towels, is old and not the best.
